1. Goto Settings in your phone.
2. Goto 'Data Usage' section

1. Goto Settings in your phone.
2. Goto 'Data Usage' section
3. Press the 'menu' key of your phone and check 'Restrict Background data'. This is restrict your phone from making unnecessary use of data unless you are connected to a wifi network.
